Softball Recap: Gar-Field Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Gar-Field's offense. They came up short against the Hylton Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 27-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Wolves of the 13-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Gar-Field is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Hylton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Gar-Field will square off against rival Woodbridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hylton is set to take on their familiar foe Freedom at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
