Basketball Recap: Elmore County Takes a Loss

Elmore County lost against Valley back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Elmore County Panthers lost to the Valley Rams on the road by a 55-38 margin.

Valley found their leader in sophomore Kayden Dooley, who went 10-for-20 to rack up 29 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. Those eight boards gave Dooley a new career-high. Jamiah Johnson was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Elmore County now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Elmore County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-30 defeat against Shelby County on the 7th. As for Valley, they have also already played their next match, a 57-45 loss against Briarwood Christian on the 7th.
