Volleyball Game Preview: Seton Saints vs. Beechwood Tigers

Seton is on a 16-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Beechwood is on an eight-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Saints will welcome the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Seton got the win against Anderson by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Seton took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Beechwood faced St. Henry in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Tigers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Crusaders. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 19-25, 27-25.

Beechwood's victory bumped their record up to 30-3. As for Seton, their win bumped their record up to 21-0.
