Zeke Adams Goes Supernova in Cornerstone Christian Victory

Cornerstone Christian picked up their 13th consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Zeke Adams. Adams turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 322 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.0 yards per carry, and also throwing for 44 yards and two touchdowns. His longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards.

If the past is any indication, Adams could be in store for another big game when he takes on Macon-East Montgomery Academy on Friday. Adams rushed for 331 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 15.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 168 yards and three touchdowns the last time he and the Knights duked it out back in October.

Sam Wallace was a major factor in Macon-East Montgomery Academy's win over Springwood on Thursday. Springwood had no answer to Wallace as he rushed for 220 yards and four touchdowns, and also threw for 181 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.

On the year, Wallace has thrown 23 touchdowns while averaging 146.9 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after nine games last season, he was only averaging 22.11 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 96.67 rushing yards.

Thad Mckinney Makes It Two for Macon-East Montgomery Academy

Keeping Wallace company is Thad Mckinney, a fellow Macon-East Montgomery Academy player. He rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 30 receiving yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making four total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Mckinney might have his next game, a home matchup with Cornerstone Christian, circled on his calendar. Mckinney rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry the last time he and the Chargers duked it out back in October.

Johnson Came Up Big in Springwood's 66-36 Defeat

Cj Johnson's rushing tear continued on Thursday as he dropped his seventh-straight game with 159+ rushing yards. He rushed for 226 yards while picking up 11.9 yards per carry.

Unfortunately for Macon-East Montgomery Academy, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Johnson. Back in October (the last time Johnson saw the Knights), he rushed for 423 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 17.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 36 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Mekhi Williams Rounds Out Top Five

Rounding off our Top Five is Mekhi Williams of Evangel Christian Academy. Williams' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 65 yards.

For the year, Williams has thrown 17 touchdowns while averaging 175.4 passing yards per game.
