Soccer Recap: Dale County Comes Up Short

Dale County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Long Rebels.

Dale County's goal came courtesy of Laila Lowe, which was the first she's scored this season.

Dale County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Long, their win bumped their record up to 5-7-4.

Looking ahead, Dale County will welcome New Brockton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dale County will need to watch out since New Brockton have now posted at least four goals in their last three matchups. As for Long, they are taking a road trip to challenge Northside Methodist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Long will be up against Northside Methodist Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.33 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
