Soccer Game Preview: Kennedy vs. Crosby

The Kennedy Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Crosby Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Kennedy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Kennedy took on Woodland Regional on Wednesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Crosby had to endure a six-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out Waterbury Career Academy 3-2 on Friday.

Crosby picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-7. As for Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Kennedy couldn't quite get it done against Crosby in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 5-3. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
