Softball Recap: Washington's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Gompers last Thursday, Washington came back down to earth. The Trojans fell 17-14 to the Van Arsdale Cardinals on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (ten), the Trojans still had to take the loss.

Washington's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8. As for Van Arsdale, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-1.

Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Van Arsdale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brandeis at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
