Excel lost to Jackson back in August, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Aggies. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Excel had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 14-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-20.

Avery Duke paced Excel's offense, picking up seven kills. Duke got some help from Kensley Rowell and her ten assists. Finally, Ava McPhaul kept Excel's defense grounded, leading the team with 11 blocks.

Excel's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Jackson, the loss snapped their winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 16-4 record.

Coming up, Excel will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Escambia County at 6:00 p.m. Jackson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
