Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Episcopal just ended the team's 14-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Knights. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, the Chargers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Cooper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Houston Christian, falling 7-0.

Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-1. As for Cooper, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart took their victory against Cooper in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
