Volleyball Recap: Harrison Central Takes a Loss

Harrison Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Barnesville Shamrocks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Shamrocks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

Harrison Central may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored nine points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-9.

Lillian Thomas paced Harrison Central's offense, picking up two kills. Thomas got some help from Hannah Grady and her four assists.

Harrison Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Barnesville, they pushed their record up to 9-13 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Harrison Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Wellsville on the 8th. Barnesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
