Soccer Recap: Triton's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

After flying high against Westover last Friday, Triton came back down to earth. The Hawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pine Forest Trojans on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Triton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while Pine Forest are ranked 74th).

With the defeat, Triton broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-8. As for Pine Forest, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 12-0-1.

Looking ahead, Triton will challenge Midway at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pine Forest, they will square off against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
