Basketball Recap: Nashua-Plainfield Takes a Loss

After flying high against Northwood-Kensett last Friday, Nashua-Plainfield came back down to earth. The Nashua-Plainfield Huskies took a hard 56-39 fall against the Newman Catholic Knights on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Knights: they've now lost six in a row.

Nashua-Plainfield now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Newman Catholic, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Nashua-Plainfield will welcome Central Springs at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Central Springs has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Newman Catholic, they will head out to face off against West Fork at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. West Fork will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Newman Catholic surely won't give up without a fight.
