            Central is 9-1 against Chesterfield since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Friday. The Central Eagles will be playing at home against the Chesterfield Golden Rams  at 7:45  p.m. Central knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully Chesterfield likes a good challenge.
Central is headed into the  contest after thoroughly thrashing Ballantyne Ridge: they outscored them in every quarter. Central blew past Ballantyne Ridge 72-46 on Monday. Given the Eagles' advantage  in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states  (they are ranked 157th in South Carolina, while the Wolves are ranked 550th in North Carolina), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.

Central's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Jordan Crowder, who  dropped  a double-double on 26 points and 14  boards. Those 26  points gave  Crowder a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tazhir Webber, who  posted 16 points.
 Central  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 12  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 11  offensive boards in 13 consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile,  Chesterfield played a tough  matchup  on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were  outmatched by Andrew Jackson and fell  71-38. The Golden Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Central is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record  this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 70.9 points per game. As for Chesterfield, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.
