Peru is a perfect 10-0 against Wabash since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Apaches at 6:00 p.m. Peru has given up an average of 6.6 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Peru's offense. They came up short against Logansport on Tuesday, falling 11-0.

Meanwhile, Wabash entered their tilt with North Miami on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 6-1.

Andi Conliff was incredible, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Gretta France, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

The victory got Wabash back to even at 7-7. As for Peru, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6.

Peru took their win against Wabash in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 11-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
