East Forsyth is 9-1 against Reagan since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The East Forsyth Eagles will welcome the Reagan Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

East Forsyth is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against West Forsyth on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. East Forsyth lost 68-44 to West Forsyth. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Reagan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 61-49 to R.J. Reynolds. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Raiders came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Demons are ranked 306th).

East Forsyth's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points over those games. As for Reagan, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.

East Forsyth beat Reagan 68-55 in their previous meeting back in January. Will East Forsyth repeat their success, or does Reagan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
