New Oxford is a perfect 4-0 against Eastern York since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Colonials are taking a road trip to face off against the Golden Knights at 4:15 p.m. New Oxford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

New Oxford will head out to face Eastern York after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. The Colonials took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of West York Area. Colonials fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Bulldogs since on Friday.

Gavin Haifley was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Meanwhile, Eastern York hadn't done well against Susquehannock recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Golden Knights came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 6-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Knights.

Kiernan Snyder spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Parker Strayer, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Eastern York's record is now 6-10. As for New Oxford, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 11-4.

New Oxford skirted past Eastern York 5-4 in their previous matchup on April 2nd. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colonials since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
