Basketball Recap: Lanier Takes a Loss

Lanier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-60 heartbreaker at the hands of the Seckinger Jaguars. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Longhorns have suffered since November 23, 2024.

Lanier's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Seckinger, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-9.

Lanier will challenge Chattahoochee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seckinger, they will take on Roswell at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
