Dewey lost against Metro Christian back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldoggers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. The Bulldoggers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Dewey's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2-2. As for Metro Christian, they pushed their record up to 21-1 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

Dewey has already played their next contest (against Sperry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Metro Christian, they are taking a road trip to challenge Collinsville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
