It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sioux Valley can now relate to. They fell 65-57 to the Dakota Valley Panthers on Thursday. The Cossacks' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dakota Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Katie Betsworth, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 15 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Emersen Mead, who posted ten points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Sioux Valley's loss dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Dakota Valley, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 22-2.

Sioux Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 56-46 win against Wagner on the 14th. As for Dakota Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 72-66 defeat against Mahpiya Luta on the 14th.
