Baseball Recap: Shades Valley Comes Up Short

Shades Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 19-3 to the Pell City Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-2 on Tuesday.

Shades Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Nelson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Shades Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Pell City, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5.

While Shades Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
