Torrey Pines's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jaycee Mack paced Torrey Pines' offense, picking up six kills. Mack got some help from Emery Gonzales and her 22 assists. Finley Krystkowiak controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Torrey Pines' victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Long Beach Poly, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 13-4 record.

Torrey Pines has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Corner Canyon on the 19th. As for Long Beach Poly, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Ironwood Ridge on the 19th.
