Recap: St. Luke's Episcopal Wildcats vs. Bryant Hurricanes
The St. Luke's Episcopal Wildcats lost against the Bryant Hurricanes back in December of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. St. Luke's Episcopal took a 49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bryant. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for St. Luke's Episcopal in their matchups with Bryant: they've now lost four in a row.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Logan Stephenson, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Those six rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Kalaysia Robinson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
St. Luke's Episcopal now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Bryant, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.
St. Luke's Episcopal won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Rain at 10:00 a.m. on December 23rd. Rain is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. Bryant will be home for the holidays to greet Leroy at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Leroy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Friday.
