Baseball Recap: Carlisle Thundering Herd vs. Lebanon Cedars
Carlisle came out on top against Lebanon on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run first inning. The Thundering Herd blew past the Cedars 13-3. The win was some much needed relief for the Thundering Herd as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Bryce Hockley looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has become a key player for Carlisle: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most two hits, but 3-11 otherwise.

At the plate, Carlisle got a massive performance out of Curtis Stroud, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. Those four RBI gave Stroud a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Finn Frawley, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one triple.
Carlisle's victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Lebanon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.
