Baseball Game Preview: McDaniel Mountain Lions vs. McNary Celtics

The McDaniel Mountain Lions are taking a road trip to face off against the McNary Celtics at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. McDaniel has given up an average of 8.6 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, McNary suffered their closest loss since May 2, 2025 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Cleveland by a score of 3-1. The contest marked the Celtics' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

McNary saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler San, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

McNary's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for McDaniel, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

McDaniel couldn't quite get it done against McNary in their previous meeting last Tuesday as they fell 8-4. Can the Mountain Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
