Soccer Recap: Southwest Legacy Comes Up Short

Southwest Legacy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-1 to the Jay Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in February.

Southwest Legacy's goal came courtesy of Jazmin Rivera, who's now up to three this season.

Southwest Legacy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11-2. As for Jay, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-3-1.

Southwest Legacy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Jay will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Seguin at 7:00 p.m. on March 21st. Jay is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season.
