Volleyball Recap: Saint Mary's Continues Home Dominance on Monday + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Saint Mary duked it out with Albany on Monday. The Panthers came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Cougars back in September, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

The victory didn't come easy: Albany scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 17-25, 25-23.

Leading Saint Mary's to victory were Nathalia Reis and Gabriella Martinez. Reis had nine digs and one assist, while Martinez had nine digs. That's the most digs Martinez has posted since back in October of 2024.

Saint Mary's was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Saint Mary's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-7. As for Albany, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-12.
