Softball Recap: Pope Francis Prep Comes Up Short

Pope Francis Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Auburn Rockets, falling 9-2.

Pope Francis Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Moreau, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Julianna Campbell also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Pope Francis Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Auburn, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4.

As of now, neither Pope Francis Prep nor the Rockets have any future games scheduled.
