Basketball Recap: Bracken County Comes Up Short

Bracken County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 75-50 to the Highlands Bluebirds. The Polar Bears were probably out for revenge after losing 89-66 to them when the teams met back in December of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bracken County now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Highlands, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Bracken County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Holmes at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Highlands, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Boyle County at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
