Basketball Game Preview: Dewar Dragons vs. Carney Bulldogs

The Dewar Dragons will head out on the road to challenge the Carney Bulldogs at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.

Dewar will head into Tuesday's match eager for some revenge after what happened against Stuart: Dewar managed to slip by Stuart the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Dewar lost 71-48 to Stuart on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Dragons have suffered since January 30, 2024.

Meanwhile, Carney got the win against Coyle on Tuesday by a conclusive 71-50.

Carney has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Dewar, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-2.

Dewar came out on top in a nail-biter against Carney when the teams last played on Saturday, sneaking past 43-40. Will Dewar repeat their success, or does Carney have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
