Lakeville North and Lakeville South are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2021, but not for long. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lakeville North comes in on three and Lakeville South on 11.

On Monday, Lakeville North was able to grind out a solid victory over Rosemount, taking the game 3-1.

Lakeville North had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-22, 25-21, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Lakeville South got the win against Apple Valley on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

Lakeville South's win bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Lakeville North, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.

Lakeville North beat Lakeville South 2-0 in their previous meeting back in September. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
