Baseball Recap: North Shore Country Day Comes Up Short

North Shore Country Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 15-2 to the Wheeling Wildcats.

North Shore Country Day saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Berlin, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

North Shore Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Wheeling, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Shore Country Day will face off against Chicago University at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wheeling, they will square off against Hersey at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The Huskies' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
