Soccer Recap: King Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

King's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the North Shore Mustangs a 2-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Mustangs back in February, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Rafael Mendoza was the driving force of King's attack as he scored both of King's goals, bringing his season total up to eight goals.

King's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12. As for North Shore, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.

Looking ahead, King will face off against Channelview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Channelview's last five contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. North Shore does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
