River View had to settle for second on Wednesday, but Erika Ball sure wasn't going down easily. Ball wasn't messing around, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in both of her plate appearances. The matchup was her third straight with at least one stolen base.

Even though Ball couldn't lead River View over Mount View, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sadly, Ball's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Raiders' three-game streak of wins on the road.
