Raiders are 2-0 after going 3-18 last season.

Michael Porter Jr. is regarded as the No. 2 overall prospect in high school basketball's Class of 2017 by 247Sports.

He was also the nation's most high-profile transfer over the summer, leaving Father Tolton (Columbia, Mo.) for Nathan Hale (Seattle).

The 6-foot-9 wing made his Seattle debut Friday night, scoring 44 points and grabbing 20 rebounds in an easy 82-59 win over a promising West Seattle team.

Nathan Hale led 43-18 at the half en route to the first career victory for new head coach Brandon Roy.

Porter followed that up with 34 points in a 109-70 win over Chief Sealth (Seattle) on Tuesday night. Highlights from both games can be seen above.

The Raiders went 3-18 in 2015-16 but could be a title contender with the additions of Porter, younger brothers Jontay and Coban and Garfield transfer P.J. Fuller. They will be put to the test Friday night in a showdown with defending 3A state champion Rainier Beach (Seattle).

Both Michael and Jontay are committed to Washington, where their father is an assistant coach under Lorenzo Romar.
