Football Game Recap: Elma vs. Castle Rock

Elma put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season on Friday. They made easy work of Castle Rock and carried off a 47-21 win. That looming 26-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Elma yet.

Elma started the matchup off right with 34 first-half points. Castle Rock put up 14, so the score was 34-14 at the half. The Elma defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the game. The victory bumped Elma's record up to 4-0. The defeat dropped Castle Rock's record to 1-3.

Next week Elma take on R.A. Long at 7:00 PM. Elma will be strutting in after a win while R.A. Long will be stumbling in from a loss. Castle Rock will look to defend their home turf against Columbia at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
