Lawrence County entered their tilt with Sumrall on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 52-40 victory over the Sumrall Bobcats. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-43 two weeks ago.

When it comes to explaining why Sumrall lost, don't look at Ella Robertson. Despite the final result, she went 7 for 16 en route to 23 points and seven steals. The contest was Robertson's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tylajia Milsap, who posted 11 points and seven boards.

Lawrence County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.6 points per game. As for Sumrall, their loss dropped their record down to 15-15.
