Basketball Recap: Latta Takes a Loss

Latta lost against Wright City back in March of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Latta Panthers took a 48-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wright City Lumberjax. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 81st, while the Lumberjax are ranked 18th).

Latta's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Wright City, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Latta didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 39-35 defeat against Prague on the 14th. As for Wright City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-39 loss against Jones on the 14th.
