Basketball Recap: Morris Jeff Comes Up Short

Morris Jeff saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Bay Tigers, falling 65-21. The game marked the Pelicans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Anthony Robinson produced another solid performance putting up 30 points for Bay. The contest was Robinson's fourth in a row with at least 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aj Dunklin, who posted ten points.

Morris Jeff now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Bay, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

Morris Jeff wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 62-39 defeat against Pope John Paul II on the 3rd. As for Bay, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-47 loss against Columbia Academy on the 2nd.
