Baseball Recap: Vashon Island Takes a Loss

The Vashon Island Pirates came up short against the North Mason Bulldogs on Saturday and fell 6-2.

Brent Calhoun made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that he hit this season.

Vashon Island's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for North Mason, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-4 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Vashon Island by a score of 5-0 later that day.
