Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville barely beat Cherry Valley-Springfield the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolves put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp  15-5 win on Saturday. Considering the Wolves have won six games by more than five  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Kali Hazzard made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out nine batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits (and not a single walk). That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted  over her last ten  matchups. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Taylor Hayes was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three  stolen bases, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Hadley Crannell, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with five  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .536. They are  a perfect 5-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville pushed their record up to 9-7 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home.
