Soccer Game Preview: Perquimans vs. Manteo + Official Tickets

Perquimans is 0-10 against Manteo since October of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. The Pirates will host the Redskins at 4:00 p.m. Perquimans is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Perquimans turned things around against Gates County on Monday. They came out on top against the Red Barons by a score of 3-1.

Perquimans hit Gates County with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hayden Dail, Brock White, and Michael Beyer.

Meanwhile, Manteo kept a clean sheet against Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Griffins with a sharp 7-0 win. Considering Manteo have won eight contests by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Manteo's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Perquimans, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 6-10-1.
