Baseball Game Preview: West Anchorage Eagles vs. Dimond Lynx

The West Anchorage Eagles will face off against the Dimond Lynx at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last three games West Anchorage has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

West Anchorage is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Eagle River, who was ranked fourth at the time (West Anchorage was ranked 18th). The Eagles fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one run.

West Anchorage saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paul Dittrich, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
