Preview: Inman Inman Teutons vs. Syracuse Bulldogs
The Inman Inman Teutons will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Syracuse Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Friday, Inman was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 12-8 to Medicine Lodge. Inman has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The losing side was boosted by Talon Welch, who rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. Welch was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Syracuse, who are still winless after their seventh contest. They had to suffer through a rough 56-6 loss at the hands of Ellis.
Inman has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Syracuse, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 0-7.
