Football Recap: Bowie Comes Up Short on the Road Against Burges

Bowie kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 34-0 loss at the hands of the Burges Mustangs. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Nezahul Cisneros was a one-man wrecking crew For Burges. as he rushed for 166 yards and two TDs on only ten carries. Those 166 rushing yards gave Cisneros a new career-high.

Coming up, Bowie will challenge Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Burges, they will face off against Fabens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
