Softball Recap: Winterset Beats Earlham for Their Third Straight Victory

Winterset had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Earlham Cardinals. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in June of 2024.

Winterset's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Earlham, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8.

Winterset wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Clarinda on the 14th. Earlham has also already played their next game (against Creston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
