Basketball Game Preview: Riley County Falcons vs. Perry-Lecompton Kaws

The Riley County Falcons will take on the Perry-Lecompton Kaws in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Riley County lost to St. Marys at home by a 62-44 margin. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Perry-Lecompton had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 72-65. Surprisingly, this marked the Kaws' sixth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Perry-Lecompton's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Riley County, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
