Baseball Recap: Bucyrus Takes a Loss

Bucyrus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 29th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-1 to the Carey Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 26-0 on Friday.

Bucyrus saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Quinn Ross, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Bucyrus' defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Carey, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bucyrus will square off against Mt. Gilead at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Carey, they will take on Buckeye Central at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
