Volleyball Recap: Roncalli Victorious

Roncalli hadn't done well against Hilbert recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Jets walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wolves. The Jets were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Wolves, so the Jets were just returning the favor.

Erin Panosh was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had nine digs and six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Panosh wasn't the only good server: Roncalli was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. The Jets are a perfect 3-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

The win made it two in a row for Roncalli and bumps their season record up to 6-6. As for Hilbert, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Roncalli didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Coleman on the 13th. As for Hilbert, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Laconia on the 13th.
