Basketball Game Preview: Paint Valley Bearcats vs. Piketon Redstreaks

The Paint Valley Bearcats will challenge the Piketon Redstreaks at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. Paint Valley is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Paint Valley took on Fairfield on Thursday. Paint Valley fell 45-32 to Fairfield.

Meanwhile, Piketon suffered their biggest loss since January 20, 2024 on Wednesday. They were dealt a 59-21 defeat at the hands of Unioto. While losing is never fun, the Redstreaks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 355th, while the Shermans are ranked 84th).

Piketon has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season. As for Paint Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 3-16.
