Gateway Christian is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Melrose just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They were outmatched by the Buffaloes and fell 70-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered since January 28th.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Zack McCracken, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 13 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Grady Munson, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 13 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Cliff had to suffer through a 56-9 loss at the hands of Magdalena. The game marked the Cowboys/Cowgirls' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Cliff's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-6. As for Gateway Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 21-8.
